Muguna, who joined the team in January, was introduced from the bench in the 76th minute, as he continued to ramp his way back to the starting eleven.
Bame Morwalela and Segolame Boy were all on target on Wednesday, with the former bagging a brace in the seventh and 87th minutes, to give Flamingoes their first win since 28 February.
As for Muguna, his cameo was his fourth straight game coming off the bench, following his muscle injury last month, which kept him out of his team’s 1-0 defeat to Centre Chiefs on 21 February.
Since his signing, Muguna has only made one start for Leutwetse Tshireletso’s side, but has four goals to his name.
The 30-year-old opened his account for Flamingoes as a substitute on 31 January against Orapa United, before adding a goal each in the team’s successive fixtures against Extension Gunners and Gaborone United.
In his full debut on 18 February, Muguna netted again, as Flamingoes settled for a 1-1 draw with Tafic FC.
Wednesday’s win saw Flamingoes remain fourth on the standings with 43 points, 13 adrift of leaders Gaborone United.
Abuya in action for Yanga
Elsewhere in Tanzania, Harambee Stars midfielder Duke Abuya played 66 minutes of Young Africans’ barren draw with ten-man TRA United at the Sheikh Amri Abeid Stdaium.
Abuya, who has been a consistent starter for the side, was replaced in the second half for Ugandan youngster Allan Okello, but could not help Yanga get all the three points.

TRA, who are 10th in the league, finished the game with 10 men after Mzamiru Yassin was shown a second yellow in the 78th minute.
The point moved Yanga nine points clear at the top of the standings, having played 15 games this season.
