Eric Ouma

Former Gor Mahia midfielder Eric Ouma continued his starts record for AIK as he has played every single minute for the club this season in the league after 14 rounds of fixtures.

AIK were facing table-toppers Djurgården who have had an impressive season as this was their second loss of the season which came at a price as they surrendered top spot to Malmo FF on goal difference.

Eritrean forward Henok Goitom needed only eight minutes to break the deadlock and make AIK’s early dominance count with Nicolas Marcelo Stefanelli putting the ball on a plate for him.

Djurgården however got themselves back into the game in the 29th minute with Haris Radetinac pulling them level as both teams went into the halftime break locked in a 1-1 draw.

Former Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson restored AIK’s lead five minutes after the restart as he whipped in a sublime freekick that beat the keeper from a tight angle.

Nicolas Marcelo Stefanelli finally got his name on the scoresheet in the 69th minute with Alexander Milosevic putting the game beyond Djurgården with 10 minutes left on the clock.

The win takes AIK into European places as they could seal a place in the UEFA Europa Conference League if they maintain their third place to the end of the season.

Eric Johana

Kenyan international Eric Johana lasted the full 90 minutes as his Jönköpings Södra side squandered a two-goal lead as Brage rallied to seal all three points in a Swedish Superettan clash.

Marcus Degerlund and Edin Hamidovic scored in the first half to hand Jönköpings a healthy advantage heading into the halftime break.

Brage upped the ante in the second half as Leonard Pllana, Anton Lundin and an own goal from Marcus Degerlund saw Brage pick up three points.
