Former Gor Mahia centre back Frank Odhiambo had an afternoon to remember after helping IF Karlstad beat Enkoping 4-3 in a Swedish third-tier game staged at Enavallen C-Plan Grounds on Saturday afternoon.

Odhiambo, who was on target in the previous assignment against Stocksund, clocked full time, underscoring his significance in the promotion-chasing team and his resolve to get minutes at his parent club, Djugardens IF.
Karlstad took the lead in the fourth minute through Adam Bark, with Jose Miguel Bonilla doubling the advantage in the 48th minute.
The two-goal cushion was supposed to be a comfortable lead for the visitors, but the tie got interesting and more intense after Enkoping halves the deficit in the 51st minute through Andreas Hansen.
However, Karlstad restored their healthy advantage seven minutes later through Nigerian forward Ibrahim Adewale.
Emil Okzan threw a spanner into the works after netting the second goal for the hosts in the 63rd minute.
Enkoping's hopes of leveling matters and perhaps stealing the win was put off by Jesper Carstrom, who scored the fourth for the visiting team in the 73rd minute.
Henrik Linus registered the third goal for Enkoping in the 80th minute but Odhiambo and the rest of the back line held on the slim lead to gather all three points.
In Romania, Stars midfielder Eric Johana was in action in UTA Arad's barren draw against AS FC Buzau in a top tier match played at the Francisco von Neuman Stadium.
The former Mathare United man, who has been riding on top form since his arrival in October 2023, was replaced by Adrian Dragos in the 72nd minute.
Closer home, Stars midfielder John Ochieng was not in the match day squad as Zanaco lost 1-0 to Red Arrows in a Zambian Super League match played at Nkoloma Stadium.
Lubamba Angel scored the winning goal in the 52nd minute.
Still in Zambia, David 'Calabar' Owino was also overlooked as Napsa Stars held Mutindo a barren draw at REIZ Arena.
