Ayunga, who last scored for The Saints back in August against Rangers, was on the receiving end of a long punt from Miguel Freckleton in the 82nd minute, before warding off last-man Jack Milne, to squeeze in a shot through the legs of Dimitar Mitov.

It's brilliant from Ayunga who steals the ball off the Aberdeen defender, drives through on goal and slots beyond Dimitar Mitov.

The goal, which was Ayunga’s second in the Scottish Premiership this season, drew St. Mirren level at 2-2, before the visitors relied on a last-gasp header from Richard King to salvage a point after Marko Lazetic had looked to have won it for Aberdeen in the 85th minute.
Ayunga, who featured for Harambee Stars in a pair of friendlies in November, with his strike, made it three career goals against The Dons, having scored against them in December 2023 and August 2022.
The point took St. Mirren’s tally this season to 11 points, three clear of bottom-placed Livingstone.
Elsewhere in Denmark, Harambee Stars right back Daniel Anyembe continued his reliable spell for Viborg FF as he led them to a big quarter final advantage in the Landspokal Cup.
Anyembe, 27, played the full 90 minutes as the hosts beat Velje 4-1 in the first-leg tie, a result that gives Viborg the upper hand of making it through to the semis, when the two teams meet for the return leg on 13 December.
In Poland, Kenyan midfielder Timothy Ouma made his return to club action after featuring for a limited spell in Lech Poznan’s 2-0 cup win over Piast Gliwice.
Ouma, who last featured for Poznan on 9 November, played for only 24 minutes, before being substituted off for Antoni Kozubal.
The 21-year-old had at that time already been booked, having picked a yellow in the 17th minute.

In Serbia, Harambee Stars defender Collins Sichenje played all minutes of Vojvodina’s dramatic cup victory over OFK Vršac, which secured his side a spot in the quarter finals.
Vojvodina, who took an early lead through Milutin Vidosavljevic, were rescued by a late scissor-kick goal from Damjan Đokanović to win 2-1, and breeze into the last eight.
Damjan Đokanović, a striker born in 2008, opened his scoring account for Vojvodina today, and he did it in spectacular fashion: an injury-time bicycle-kick winner in the cup.

Before this, he’d played only 61 senior minutes. Hopefully more to come now.pic.twitter.com/WmLOQXl32Q
Back in the continent, the Kenyan trio of Brian Bwire, Moses Shumah and Elvis Rupia were all involved in their team’s respective matches as they registered mixed results.
Goalkeeper Bwire was between the posts for Polokwane as they beat Stellenbosch 2-1 in the South African Premiership, while Shumah registered an assist as Zambian side Power Dynamos settled for a 1-1 draw with FC Leopards.
In Tanzania, Rupia featured 62 minutes of Singida Black Stars’ barren league draw with Azam.
