Stalemate specialists hold the Old Lady to a two-a-piece draw

Juventus and Parma played a thrilling match in Turin

Juventus battled back twice to secure a 2-2 draw against Parma in Serie A, while I Crociati managed to avoid defeat for only the second time in their last seven head-to-head matches with the Old Lady.

The visitors shocked Juventus early, scoring just three minutes in when a well-rehearsed corner move saw the ball switch from left to right, with Adrián Bernabé delivering a cross to Botond Balogh. Balogh nodded the ball across the goal, allowing fellow defender Enrico Del Prato to head powerfully past Michele Di Gregorio. Juventus nearly leveled the score in the 13th minute when Weston McKennie met a Timothy Weah cross with a towering header, only for Zion Suzuki to make a superb save. Dušan Vlahović then wasted the rebound, sending it off target.

Mandela Keita managed to block a Francisco Conceição shot shortly after, but Juventus kept pressing. Following the corner, McKennie evaded Balogh to meet Weah’s delivery and headed home the equalizer. Both sides showed intent to take the lead: Khéphren Thuram darted forward but shot wide, while Bernabé's cross narrowly missed the post at the other end. Parma struck again in the 38th minute, with Dennis Man latching onto a flick-on from Valentin Mihăilă and cutting it back for Simon Sohm to calmly finish.

Juventus didn’t take long to respond after halftime, capitalizing on a quick counterattack with Weah clinically converting Conceição’s cross. Conceição then set up Vlahović with an inviting cross that was headed just over, and later tried his own luck with a shot that soared above the bar. Both benches sought a winner as the match opened up, with Kenan Yıldız’s cross-shot forcing Suzuki into a save and Gabriel Charpentier testing the Juventus defense with a long-range strike.

With the match stretched, Parma created two late chances, but Charpentier and Pontus Almqvist were both denied. The draw marks Parma's fifth in their last six Serie A matches as they look toward crucial games against Genoa and Venezia. Juventus had a last-gasp opportunity as Del Prato cleared Yıldız’s shot off the line, leaving the hosts to settle for a third draw in their last four league matches and remain seven points behind league leaders Napoli.
