K'Ogalo are currently fourth with 51 points.

Gor Mahia's tactician Andreas Spier is hoping to have a positive ending to the current Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) season with just two matches left to play.

K'Ogalo face off with Nzoia Sugar at home on Sunday and have another rescheduled match against FC Talanta whose date is yet to be confirmed, although the latter have maintained that they should be awarded points for the match that did not take place in May.

"We have Nzoia and Talanta, two teams in the middle of the standings and we are going for maximum points. I always tell my team to go for three points and I am hoping that we close the season positively with wins in the two matches," Spier said.

In regard to their season, Spier acknowledged that they have been under transition as a club as they had to make-do with the players available at the club due to the FIFA transfer ban imposed.

As a result, they have been forced to field players in positions 'new' to them, the notable ones being Philemon Otieno and Dennis Ng'ang'a who have partnered at the heart of defense in a couple of instances.

"Just like we have a transitional committee in the Federation, for us it was a transitional season and you know the reason. We have been playing with youth players and improvised players because we could not sign players so we are trying to build for the coming season," he added.

Currently, the record Kenyan champions are fourth on the log but could have a better finish if they win their remaining matches and hope that the teams ahead of them stutter.
