George Weah's son had an excellent season with LOSC Lille, and now, at the age of 23, it's time for the big stage

It will be interesting to hear the discussions inside the Weah family if this ends in the expected way. George Weah is AC Milan's legend, leaving a massive trace in the Serie A back in the '90s.

However, his son Timothy, 23, is now on the verge of joining none other than Rossoneri's bitter rival Juventus.

According to sources, Weah Jr. has agreed terms over a move to Bianconeri and will sign a five-year deal with the club.

George Weah's son, currently plying trade at Ligue 1 side LOSC Lille, has attracted interest from across Europe and was initially linked with a move to the Premier League, with Everton, Fulham and Brighton all reportedly interested, whilst Olympique Marseille showed interest, too.

However, with just one year remaining on his contract, Weah now looks set to head to Italy. Juventus and Lille are making progress in negotiations, and the final agreement is thought to total around €12m - a profit on the €10m Lille paid Paris Saint-Germain back in 2019.

As well as agreeing on the length of the deal with the Turin-based side, Weah has also reached an agreement on a salary, and a move is, therefore, on the verge of being completed.
