The young attacking midfielder joined Sofapaka from Migori Youth
Sofapaka's new recruit Ben Stanley is over the moon after opening his goal account for his new club in the win against Rainbow FC in the Elite Pre-season Cup tournament on Friday.
Stanley, who joined Batoto Ba Mungu from National Super League side Migori Youth, opened the scoring at the quarter-hour mark as Sofapaka run riot over the third-tier side, hitting them 4-0.

In his own words, Stanley termed scoring for a top-tier club as the experience his best ever feeling, adding that it was enough motivation to want to add more goals in the coming matches.
"Friday's encounter was the best football feeling for me, not just scoring for the club but getting the back of the net for my first goal in the top tier. It was an absolutely amazing moment, and I loved every bit of it. I feel motivated and I hope to add more to my tally in the coming matches," he said as quoted on the club's socials.
Sofapaka wrap up their group action against Bidco United, a fellow Premier League side, and the young attacking midfielder is raring to go although he knows it will be a close call given the magnitude of the opponent.
"It will be a close game because they are a good team. Nevertheless, I believe we have all that it takes to have a proper outing on Monday," he added.
