Sofapaka to miss quartet in Bullets clash

Hamid Mohammed will however be in contention for the clash against Bullets

Ahead of their clash against Vihiga Bullets on Wednesday, Sofapaka are set to be without David Kingatua, Geoffrey Ojunga, Kevin Omondi and Ambrose Sifuna.

Despite the quartet sitting out of the clash, Batoto ba Mungu received a shot in the arm with Hamid Mohammed in contention to feature in the match after a bout with malaria. 

David Kingatua who is a fresh injury concern ahead of the Bullets clash sustained a thigh injury in training and is set to miss the clash as he is still on the treatment table. 

Former Western Stima midfielder Geoffrey Ojunga who joined the club at the start of the season will miss the Bullets as he is currently down with malaria.

Custodian Kevin Omondi who missed the 1-1 draw against Posta Rangers has recovered from an injury and resumed light training ahead of time but will be unavailable on Wednesday.

Ambrose Sifuna has recovered and resumed light training after being sidelined for a month but will continue with rehabilitation as he gears towards match fitness.

Ken Odhiambo will head into the clash with an upturn in form having gone on a five-game unbeaten run while Bullets are yet to win a single match this season.
