The midfielder joined Tusker back in January 2018.

Kenyan Premier League champions 2009, Sofapaka FC are continuing with their spending spree after unveiling former Tusker FC midfielder Kevin Okoth ahead of the new season.

Batoto ba Mungu have already galvanized their squad with the signings of Ben Stanley and Lucky Musyoka who joined the club from National Super League outfit Migori Youth.

Okoth has endured limited game time at Tusker in the past season with the reigning league champions having depth in the midfield department.

Sofapaka announced the signing of Okoth from Tusker but failed to disclose the length of the contract though they noted that he will bolster their midfield department ahead of next season.

“We are glad to have agreed a deal with Kevin Okoth. Okoth, formerly with Tusker Football Club, will join the team on a long-term deal. He is expected to boost our midfield depth ahead of the new season,” read a statement from Sofapaka.

Okoth joined Tusker from Western Stima back in January 2018 after they suffered relegation from the Premier League and signed a three year deal.

The midfielder leaves the Brewers having collected two back to back league titles and will look to gain more game time at Sofapaka under head coach David Ouma.
