Former Bandari goalkeeper's trainer returns to the Jangwani Boys for the third stint

After joining Tanzanian giants Yanga for the third spell, former Bandari goalkeepers' trainer Razak Siwa has revealed his immediate task of shaping the three goalkeepers at the club in a bid to make the department the best in the league.

Siwa who had been a free agent from January after parting ways with the dockers returned to Jangwani as part of the new technical bench set to be unveiled in the course of the week.

Speaking from Dar es Salaam, the former Harambee Stars who had earlier this month issued a come and get me plea to FKFPL clubs said he will show no bias to the three shot-stoppers who include his former student and Kenyan international Faruk Shikalo in his bid to achieve his target.

Siwa is credited to have transformed Shikhalo into an international player when the two worked at Bandari between 2017 to 2019 before the former Posta Rangers goalkeeper was headhunted by Yanga immediately after the Afcon finals in Egypt.

He says he will give Tanzanian international Metacha Mnata as well as third choice Ramadan Kabwili equal chance and treatment similar to the one he intends to hand Shikalo.

"I have joined Yanga for the third time and gotten straight to the job. I have three goalkeepers whom I will be tasked to work with. I will not be looking at their names or nationality, all I want is to inject competition, self-belief, and courage in them and help the team do better, " he revealed.

Apart from shipping Siwa in, the former Tanzanian champions are said to have signed former Harambee Stars head ad coach Sébastien Migne.

The Frenchman was fired in August 2019 after Kenya fell 4-1on post-match penalties to Tanzania in a Chan qualifier but he didn't stay long from the touchline as he was appointed the Equatorial Guinea boss the following month.

He left the Nzalang Nacional in June last year. The former Congo Brazzaville junior team coach replaces Cedric Kaze who alongside the entire technical bench was shown the door at the start of the month.
