The ex-Tottenham captain is showing glimpses of his glorious days with Spurs, as he scored nine goals in the last six games with Los Angeles FC and the South Korean national team

Son Heung-min's departure from North London after a decade at Tottenham was marked as the end of an era. After all, the Korean is the club's fifth all-time top scorer with 173 goals, seventh all-time appearance-maker with 454 games.

Still, it seems both the Spurs and the player quickly found a way to move on.

Tottenham opened the new Premier League season fairly well, collecting 11 points in the first six rounds and currently sit in fourth spot. The new chapter with the new boss, Thomas Frank, and some different key players has been good so far, and the fans can definitely be optimistic.

On the other hand, Son's recent form at Los Angeles FC has been outstanding, as the Korean is showing glimpses of his glorious days in the British capital.

In the last six games with the MLS side and the South Korea national team, the 33-year-old bagged as many as nine goals (?!), leading his crew to four consecutive wins and the fourth spot in the Western Conference.

He scored only once in his first four matches for the popular Black and Gold. However, he then netted twice for South Korea in friendly clashes against the USA and Mexico, and his immense run began.

Afterwards, Son hit the mark once against the San Jose Earthquakes, bagged a hat-trick against Real Salt Lake, recorded a goal and two assists against the same rival just four days later, and finally, added another brace against St. Louis City to his scoring tally.

Incredible form for a 33-year-old. But when you know it's Son, it doesn't hit you by surprise. He's always been class.
