Former Premier League player made some shocking statements

When Lionel Messi was on the crossroads after PSG, we all remember how much lobbying there was from David Beckham in order to sign the Argentinian ace. Saudi Arabia also tried to lure him in the same league as Cristiano Ronaldo, but former Barcelona captain choose USA. And now, two years after that decision, for Messi, everything is great. He is playing regularly but without much pressure or tension, he is enjoying America, his kids are also loving it, so a next contract extension should be on the table soon, according to the latest reports. Messi also managed to bring a couple of his old teammates to Miami as well, and it’s safe to say that Inter is his new home.

But what about other players and staff? Well, according to Mateusz Klich, they are not so happy. The former Premier League player either has good connections in Miami or is talking rubbish. Either way, he caused quite a steer with his latest comments.

"I don't recommend Miami as long as Messi is there. It's a disaster. People are leaving, coaches and physiotherapists too. Organizationally, the situation is bad. Messi's father runs the club. Everyone speaks Spanish and nothing can be done without their consent. The club is also located 45 to 50 minutes from Miami" Mateusz Klich to the Polish show Foot Truck, as reported by The Daily Mail.

Former Leeds player (195 appearances) played in USA for DC United and Atlanta United and faced Inter Miami three times (but only once when Messi was playing). The Pole even had recommendations for his fellow football players around the world.

"I would recommend New York. Red Bull has a better stadium now, but City is also building a great one. Or Nashville SC , if you have the opportunity. It's a beautiful place, the capital of the country. Portland and Seattle have a special atmosphere, but it's the other side of the world. There are clubs like Columbus Crew and Cincinnati that have big stadiums and a great base, but life there is very boring" said Klich.
