Former Nkana FC defender Harun Shakava has set his sights on winning the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) title.
Former Gor Mahia skipper Harun Shakava has set himself lofty targets after returning to K'Ogalo following a one year stint at Zambian giants Nkana FC.
Shakava surprised many when he cut short his spell at cash strapped Nkana to make a return to Gor Mahia following his unceremonious exit back in July 2019.
After resigning for K’Ogalo in January, Shakava has revealed that he wants to lift the Football Kenya Federation Premier League title once again despite Gor’s poor start to the season.
“In football, you never know your next move but I was released and the Chairman gave me a call, we had a chat and I decided to return to the club.
“I want to play a lot of games for the club and become champions of Kenya and play a number of matches in the Confederation Cup,” said Shakava.

The defender has the knack of winning titles after helping Nkana win the league for the first time in seven years following his move to the Kitwe based club.
Winning the 2020 Zambian Super League now means that Shavaka has clinched five league title consecutively, four with Gor Mahia and one with Nkana FC.
The former Kakamega Homeboyz defender is thrilled to come back to K’Ogalo and is hoping the club makes a return back to the group stages of the Confederation Cup after a season’s hiatus.
“To come back to Gor Mahia was an easy decision because Gor is a team I know and I've played here before so I'm so excited to come back to the team.
“I hope things will be okay because we are hoping to qualify for the Confederation Cup so I want this season to be smooth,” added Shakava.
It is not clear whether Shakava was registered to play in the Play-Offs clash against Napsa Stars on Sunday having just joined in January.
