Shabana sip Tusker, Posta ease past Nzoia as Homeboyz and Talanta share spoils

This was Shabana's first win of the season

Vincent Nyabuto's second half goal was all Shabana needed to surprise Tusker FC in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) match played at the Kasarani Main Stadium on Friday afternoon.

The win catapults Shabana to fourteenth on the log with six points after six matches while Tusker are sixth with eights having played the same number of matches.

Posta Rangers fine run persisted with a comfortable 2-0 win over Nzoia Sugar at Kasarani Annex while Bukhungu Stadium witnessed a dramatic high-scoring match with homeside Kakamega Homeboyz playing to a 3-3 draw with FC Talanta.

Second half goals by Brian Otieno and captain Kennedy Owino handed Mail Men their fifth win of the season and solidy their lead at the helm of the log. In Kakamega, Talanta came from behind to force a 3-3 draw with homeside Kakamega Homeboyz.

Kakamega Homeboyz was leading 2-0 by the half hour nark courtesy of goals by Brian Eshihanda and David Kasirye but Talanta staged a brilliant comeback to force the game into a 2-2 draw heading to the breather after goals by Lucas Waitere and Erick Ombinja.

Moses Shumah restored Kakamega's lead 10 minutes after the restart but Ombinja converted from the spot on 77 minutes to grab his brace and ensure Talanta take a point on the road.
