You want to watch El Clasico on those obscure streaming websites? Better watch out, because this man will find you
It's not the first time we hear about fighting the distribution of pirated content, but this one is quite different. La Liga president Javier Tebas is apparently personally obsessed with tracking down people who stream La Liga illegally.
According to COPE, Tebas spends hours in front of his screen, watching IP addresses and infiltrating Telegram groups with illegal La Liga streams.
Recently, he also accused big tech companies of effectively collaborating with pirates in his latest tirade against illegal content.

Tebas said tech firms, telecommunications providers, and social media platforms were providing the infrastructure needed to distribute pirated content whilst neglecting to their responsibility to take proactive action against those behind it.
"Big tech [companies] are the necessary cooperators for fraud," Tebas said. "They are reactive, not proactive. They're not even reactive at times. They're perfectly conscious and aware of what they're making happen.
"They are stealing from us every single day."
LaLiga recently secured a major victory in Spain that allows it to fine individuals it believe are consuming content illegally. You simply don't mess with Tebas.
