Two world-class athletes had a bit of fun on Twitter in the wake of insane offer Mbappe received
Greek-Nigerian basketball superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and PSG's goalscorer Kylian Mbappe had a nice little exchange on Twitter on Monday night. Namely, the Milwaukee Bucks leader told Al-Hilal in a tweet the Saudi club can take him instead of Mbappe - because they look alike!
The Saudi club made an offer of $333 million to buy the French international and is willing to hand $770 million to the footballer in just a year. That sort of offer dwarfs Giannis' yearly salary of $40 million - and makes the whole world take notice.
Despite Al-Hilal's astounding offer, Relevo reported on Monday that Mbappe does not want to play in Saudi Arabia" According to the Madrid-based newspaper, however, Mbappe is committed to staying with the defending French champions for the last year of his contract - and further annoying Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who doesn't want to lose the striker on a free transfer.
It is claimed that the Saudi Pro League side could put a release clause in a lucrative contract allowing Mbappe to sign for Real Madrid in 12 months. The French star has long been keen on a move to Real, with PSG believing he has already agreed to join the Spanish giants for free in 2024.
Je ne vois aucune différence entre Kylian Mbappé et Giannis… 👀😅 pic.twitter.com/qOfocmA1ZT

For all the rumours and insane numbers being mentioned, Mbappe is cool. That's why he didn't make any big statements. Instead, he just quoted Giannis' tweet with a bunch of smiling face emojis.
It is pretty funny, indeed.
