The tactician said that his players have been professional throughout the season, displaying high levels of discipline and dedication as well as the urge to learn and develop individually and as a team.
"We have played very well all season so I am not surprised. I even believe that we deserve to have much more points. We worked very professionally and hard all season, my players are dedicated and disciplined, with a desire to improve and develop," Sanjin said.
The Bosnian also noted that mid-season acquisitions have bolstered the team and have fit in perfectly.
"In the transfer window, we brought three good players in positions where we had problems. That was Kipkurui, Bolton and Okumu. They have adapted well to the team and helped us to improve our game and achieve better results," the gaffer said.

Left-back Bolton Omwenga, right-back Kevin Chumsy Okumu and forward Nicholas Kipkirui all joined Simba wa Nairobi in the mid-season transfer window and have been instrumental in their respective positions.
Bolton joined the team from Tanzania’s Biashara United while Okumu returned on a loan spell from moneybags Wazito whom he joined late last year after serving City Stars for four years and the arrival of the two players has sorted out the team's problems on the full-back positions.
Kipkirui, on the other hand, joined City Stars on the Bossman Rule after terminating his contract with reigning champions Gor Mahia on grounds of missing wages for three months in accordance with the FIFA rules.
City Stars have managed nine wins from the 23 games they have played, including a club record of five wins in a row, and sit comfortably seventh on the log with 33 points.
