How can you not like him?

What do you look for in an attacking player? Goals, assists, key passes, action? Sure, all of it helps. But Newcastle United's French magician Allan Saint-Maximin gives something more. After his team's win over Nottingham Forest last weekend, the winger went out to greet the fans and gave one lucky man a luxury Rolex wristwatch!

Such generosity isn't exactly typical, to say the least. When there are players who find it too tiresome to even sign autographs, the former Nice star raised the bar significantly with his generosity.

The lucky fan's identity was later revealed as Steve Dutton, a 25-year-old Magpies fan. He was in disbelief later in the evening as he praised the Frenchman's kindness on Twitter.

"I was the person who was gifted the watch from Allan, I was totally speechless. I thought he was coming to sign autographs and have pictures taken with the kids. I'm still in shock, I can't thank Allan Saint-Maximin enough."

This wasn't the first time the loveable Maxi's done this. Last year, while Newcastle were near the bottom of the Premier League, he gave away another watch to a fan. One Michael Urwin a $2,400 watch following the 2-2 with Brentford at St James' Park. The 55-year-old season ticket holder was minding his own business when Saint-Maximin shocked him by getting out of his car to present him with a TAG Heuer Aquaracer watch.

"I opened it and was absolutely gobsmacked and totally in shock. I still am really. I could barely even say thank you. I just couldn't believe it. I was simply lost for words and asked my eldest son to take a picture of us but we were both shaking."

ASM was linked with a potential move to Chelsea or Tottenham in this transfer window, but the 25-year-old player remains committed to the club - and the people who support it.
