Saints turned into mortals in the San Siro inferno! Giroud and Leao take down PSG in a thrilling contest

Milan come from behind to beat the Parisians and turn on the drama in the 'Group of Death'
What a comeback, what a reminiscent of the good, old days at iconic San Siro on Tuesday night as Stefano Pioli's Milano rose from a deficit to celebrate a massive 2-1 win against Paris Saint-Germain.
After conceding an early one from former Inter defender Milan Skriniar, the Rossoneri bounced back stunningly and thumped the favourites through Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud.
Now, not only Dortmund and PSG but Milan also have their chances of reaching the next round, with Newcastle slowly distancing themselves from it.

And it seemed it would be a whole different story at San Siro once the visitors took the early lead through Skriniar. It was a masterful free-kick routine, with Marquinhos heading it on to the far post, as unmarked Skrniar silenced the stadium he used to call his home for years by nodding it in.
But Pioli's boys were taking no prisoners as they pegged one back shortly after, thanks to Rafael Leao.
The Portuguese forward started his run from midfield and spread it down the left for Giroud, who fired superbly but was stopped by Donnarumma at the near post. However, Leao was at the right place at the right time to launch a bicycle kick and level the score from six yards.
PSG responded almost instantly, as Dembele curled from a distance only to see his effort end on the crossbar. It was just a prelude for Kylian Mbappe's dance on the left. He got away from Calabria, and it would end with Mbappe's name on the scoresheet if it wasn't for Maignan's sublime anticipation.
That first half was as fruitful as it gets, with 22 attempts jointly, making this tie the most exciting and surely most exquisite for the entire night.
Both teams came out fighting, with numerous chances, and it was impossible to predict the outcome at the interval, as the match could have gone either way.
The second half wasn't that good, though, but the home team won't regret much. All their hopes and prayers were answered soon after the break, as Giroud stood in front of Skriniar to blast in a header and take his side 2-1 up.
Despite the determination to make it 'even Steven' again, PSG's delivery lacked a clear plan in the last third and aside from one decent opportunity, Maignan and his defence stood firmly and provided their team with a deserved victory.
