After the claims that the player was on the verge of moving to Saudi Arabia, he recently got a sudden call from Turkey

The media have been announcing for weeks that Casemiro's move to Saudi Arabia and a reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr were imminent. However, recent days have brought a sudden turnaround as the Brazilian got another alternative - the Turkish Besiktas.

Namely, according to sources, the new Besiktas boss and former Man United player and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is interested in the midfielder who is written off at Old Trafford. Even though the two didn't have a chance to cooperate in Manchester, as the Norwegian left nine months before Casemiro arrived, the tactician considers him a major reinforcement.

Now, there are two paths in front of the 32-year-old. On the one hand, he could choose Al-Nassr, reunite with Cristiano, and earn a vast amount of money. On the other, picking Besiktas would mean he could stay in Europe, be a member of the UEFA Europa League side, and play more competitive football than the one played in Asia.

Either way, during the ultimate days of the January Transfer Window, Casemiro will be one of the most engaged players on the market.
