Ronaldo gives his verdict on Ballon d'Or and Vinicius Jr

Cristiano Ronaldo claims Vinicius Junior deserved to be awarded the 2024 Ballon d'Or and not Manchester City midfielder Rodri.

At the recent Globe Soccer Awards gala, the former Real Madrid forward expressed his stance on one of the most controversial topics in football this year.

"Vinicius deserved the Ballon d'Or," Cristiano declared during the ceremony.

Despite the controversy, Vinicius ended this year by winning FIFA's The Best 2024 award for the best player of the year. He was also instrumental in the Intercontinental Cup final, scoring a goal and providing an assist in Real Madrid's 3-0 victory over Pachuca.
