Three Spanish players are deservedly awarded for their brilliance during the European Championship
Following relentless entertainment at the Euros 2024, football won. Spain's team proved their amazing quality and deservedly triumphed in the continental showpiece.
Therefore, we should not be surprised by the fact that all individual awards end up in the hands of their players.
Injury prevented Rodri from making a more significant impact in the showdown, but that did not cost the Manchester City midfielder the European Championship 2024 Player of the Tournament award.

Maybe it is not that common to see a holding midfielder getting such a reward. However, Rodri was a true MVP and the impression is that he fully deserves it.
Also, there was no doubt about the Best Young Player reward. It ended up in the hands of Lamine Yamal, which probably would have happened regardless of the final outcome. The Man of the Match award went to Nico Williams.

Elated in front of the cameras after the game, Rodri concluded:
