The Bavarians hit EIGHT goals in a half

Harry Kane got a hat-trick, including a ridiculous 52-metre lobbed finish in Bayern's 8-0 thrashing of SV Darmstadt on Saturday evening.

Bundesliga new boys Darmstadt managed to remain goalless against the record champions Bayern in the opening 45 minutes, but their energy ran out and the Bavarians scored punished them brutally by scoring eight goals after the restart.

It was a strange day at the Allianz Arena as the hosts, who welcomed captain Manuel Neuer back in goal, were left with ten men after a straight red for Joshua Kimmich. However, the visitors made sure they topped the much-tipped hosts by getting two sendings off, with Klaus Gjasula and Matej Maglica getting early baths.

The pick of the bunch came with 69 minutes on the clock and Bayern already leading 4-0 thanks to a Kane opener, a Leroy Sane double and another fine strike from Jamal Musiala.

Mazraoui blocked an attempt from Skarke and the team from Munich quickly switched gears and pushed forward. Kane took control of the ball, looked up and spotted the Darmstadr goalie Schuhen off his line. The Englishman fired from inside his half and hit the back of the net in style. What a goal!

Kane is now the first player in the big five European leagues to reach ten goals and five assists for the 2023/24 season. And some doubted his credentials when he switched north London for south Germany!

Thomas Muller and Musiala scored in space of five minutes to make it seven and Kane completed his hat-trick on 88 minutes to wrap up another amazing performance.
