The RB Leipzig player is already on the radar of many European giants, and now the club from Manchester have joined the race as well
Although at one point it seemed that Antoine Semenyo was close to Old Trafford, the situation has taken a dramatic turn. Manchester United have been beaten in the race for the Bournemouth winger, who is now on the verge of a final agreement to join city rivals Manchester City.
After negotiations for Semenyo collapsed, the Red Devils’ hierarchy wasted no time. Their focus was swiftly shifted to the Bundesliga, with the main target becoming Yan Diomande, a 19-year-old gem from RB Leipzig and an Ivory Coast international, according to Sky Sports.
United have been monitoring Diomande for some time, but their interest could intensify as early as the upcoming transfer window. The reason is clear — United are not alone. Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have also shown strong interest in the young attacker, who is currently featuring at the Africa Cup of Nations alongside United player Amad Diallo.
There had been speculation that Leipzig were demanding an unrealistic 100 million euros for their jewel, but according to the latest information, the real price is significantly lower. It is believed that an offer in the region of 60–70 million euros would be enough for the German club to agree to a sale.
🚨🚨 | BREAKING: Manchester United may step up their chase for the 19-year-old in January if rival clubs make a move, especially after seemingly missing out on Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo.

Diomande is enjoying the season of his life and is living up to his reputation as one of Europe’s most talented wingers. He has made 16 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing four assists.
United are aware that hesitation could cost them yet another marquee signing, so the club is expected to launch a concrete push before their rivals from Paris or Munich make an official move.
