The Nigerian looks like he is perfectly fine with both solutions

I will not sell Victor Osimhen this summer - no way!” said president Aurelio De Laurentiis just a month ago, when Napoli were crowned champions with a few games to spare. But somehow, nobody believes him. He is not a clown or a liar, but with so many great teams in Europe looking for a great striker, it seems unrealistic that the Nigerian forward will stay in Italy for another year, especially if it's clear that his potential transfer will be over 100 million euros. Manchester United, Bayern Munich, PSG and Chelsea are all interested and have the money to pay for the transfer, but De Laurentiis has spoken. And everybody is waiting to see if he is a man of his word.

One of the first questions after the last game of the season (2-0 win over Sampdoria) for Osimhen was if he will stay in Napoli. And the Nigerian wasn't so sure as his boss.

I don’t know, the President has to decide that. I love the people of Napoli, they have shown me so much love. For me, I don’t mind, the President decides and I will just go with the flow” said Osimhen to DAZN.

The Nigerian international has been named Serie A striker of the season and was given the silverware. And in recent years, only Zlatan Ibrahimovic was able to be the best striker and play for a team which won Serie A (with Inter in 2009). A great achievement for Osimhen, who believes his president so much, he even thinks that winning the Champions League is not so unrealistic.

I’m happy for this award. It’s amazing feeling for me, I won the Scudetto, which is the most important thing in my career so far. I am grateful to God for this season, for my teammates, my family, for the Neapolitans and they deserve all of this. This season has been brilliant for me, my teammates and the Neapolitans. I think I’ve done so well this season and deserve every good thing I’ve got, but I feel motivated to do even more next season. Everything is possible. Just like when we started the season, lots of people didn’t believe in Napoli. If the President says we can win the Champions League, I believe it, everything is possible” said the Nigerian.
