Despite consultation with the VAR, nothing was given
Chelsea boss Graham Potter was full of criticism towards the referees after a 1-1 draw against West United on Saturday.
During the match, Conor Gallagher’s effort from just outside the box struck the arm of Tomas Soucek as he fell to the ground when trying to block the shot.

Chelsea players surrounded the referee as they pleaded for a penalty against the host.
However, despite consultation with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), nothing was given.

Speaking at his post-match press conference, Potter said it looked quite a handball to him.
"It looked quite a handball to me. I did not know Tomas could get down and save like that. It was a good save from him. It is not for me to say about VAR.
"You need your goalkeeper sometimes to get you points. I only saw it briefly and it looks like one of those where if it was given, it wouldn't be overturned, but it has not been given.
“Sometimes they go for you, sometimes they don’t and you just have to accept that. You can’t wait for luck to turn. We have to keep working."
