The coach of Tottenham spoke about VAR in a joking manner again, the Aussie wanted to throw balls into the field

Angelos Postecoglou has not ceased to intrigue the English public in recent days. After the defeat by Chelsea last Monday, Tottenham dropped the leading position in the Premier League to Manchester City, and the Australian expert has since used every opportunity to send a fresh dose of criticism at the account of VAR.

As many as four goals in the duel at White Hart Lane were canceled due to the intervention of the VAR room, and the Spurs coach commented in his own style on the fact that effective football was played in the match for only 47 minutes and that the "start-stop" rhythm can lead to player injuries.

"I'm not going to draw a direct correlation to Mickey's (Van De Ven) injury, but I was semi-tempted to throw some balls out there in the field, kick them around a little bit. That's why there's a warm-up... In that game from before the other night, only 47 minutes were played, but if it had been 110, such interruptions are not good for the type of athletes we have," Ange said honestly.

Tottenham were crippled in that match against Chelsea due to the injuries of Mickey Van De Ven and James Maddison, as well as the red cards of Christian Romero and Destiny Udogie. In an original way, he answered the media's questions about whether he is tempted to change his tactics due to personnel problems.

"It probably never happened to me in my career that my team experienced so much bad luck in one game and there is always temptation, but except when it comes to chocolate, I'm pretty good at not giving in to temptation," said the 58-year-old born in Greece jokingly.
