Bryne OdhiamboGoalkeeper
Was shaky in the opening minutes of the match and misplaced a couple of restarts. He however settled as the game progressed and made a couple of good saves.

Daniel AnyembeDefense
Rarely misplaced a pass and was solid defensively. Could do better offensively though.

Erick OumaDefense
Once again Marcelo put in a good shift, defending resolutely and offering support upfront

Joseph OkumuDefense
Not one of his best outings in the Kenyan jersey. Was at fault in South Sudan's goal and struggled to settle afterwards

Brian Mandela OnyangoDefense
Hasn't been playing regularly at Mamelodi Sundowns but stepped in well for Johnstone Omurwa who went back to Portugal after the game against Qatar. Provided leadership at the back and did well moving the ball forward.

Had some flashes of brilliance and a generally okay game. Can be a beast on a good day though and would have done better therefore.

Elvis RupiaAttack
Rupia failed to impress once again in national colors and probably Engin Firat's insistense to play him as a wide forward isnt working out. We have far much better quality wingers and using a natural striker as a winger doesnt cut it.

Kenneth MugunaMidfield
I did not expect the Kenya Police midfielder to start this game after a lacklusture performance in Qatar but he seems to have won the heart of Engin Firat. He blew hot and cold once again and he is still a pale shadow of the midfielder that lit up the Kenyan league seasons ago while featuring for Gor Mahia. Had one big chance saved but that was just it.

Michael OlungaAttack
The captain was underwhelming against South Sudan. He was immense against Qatar but just couldn't crack it against South Sudan. Perhaps our over reliance on the Al Duhail man is something we now need to discuss.

Anthony AkumuMidfield
Anthony Akumu was one of the best players against Qatar a few days ago but was underwhelming against South Sudan. Largely silent and rarely played a forward pass.

Masoud Juma ChokaAttack
Constantly went down unchallenged and seemed to be struggling with an injury. Again, a natural striker that is being played wide. He failed to impress other than a few bright moments but resulted into nothing at the end anyway.

Amos NondiDefense
Struggled to make an impact after coming in for Elvis Rupia a few minutes after the breather.
