Florentino Perez is a big fan of the young star and is offering him an extended stay in Madrid

Real Madrid will soon tie wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga with a new contract. The first contact between the club and the French player's representatives began at the end of April. The Bernabeu offices were determined to show the 20-year-old midfielder how pleased they are with his growth, and after months of negotiations, the deal has finally been trashed out.

Camavinga's new contract with Real Madrid includes improved terms, both in salary and certain specific details. Midfielder's agent, Jonathan Barnett, is in the Spanish capital finalizing the negotiations.

The person who strongly desired these improvements was club president Florentino Perez, a big fan of Camavinga for his work ethic and technical qualities. Head coach Carlo Ancelotti used him as a midfielder, defensive midfielder, and even left-back. Despite stating on more than one occasion that he didn't feel comfortable in that position, he fulfilled his mission with much credit.

Camavinga had a contract with Real Madrid until 2027. He arrived at Valdebebas in 2021 with a six-year contract. The club's idea was to try and extend that duration as well. The player is genuinely happy both at the club and in the city.
