Daniel Otieno, the leading club scorer this season revealed that the former Cercke Brugge midfielder's presence psyched up the players ahead of their crunch tie to Homeboyz.
Otieno said that even though Omollo did not have pep talk before and after the session, his presence is all what they needed for their away duel.
"He had the option of training with other clubs but he chose Mathare. It was honor to enjoy the session with him and the best way to thank him is by winning this weekend and ensuring that we remain in the top flight . We wouldn't want to let him down," said the former Sony Sugar man.
Otieno in the meantime insists that Mathare will not be relegated despite being placed at the rock bottom of the log with fourteen points.

The 'Slum Boys' appeared to be firm relegation candidates but the arrival of coach Frank Ouna in May has slowly began bearing fruit after mastermind crucial wins against AFC Leopards and Vihiga United which have seen them gather steam in the race to beat the drop.
"If we beat Homeboyz we will scale at least a place on the log. If we can maintain our recent performance then we will make out of the red zone before the season ends," he remarked.
