Osimhen loses the plot with Spalletti for being substituted in a 3-1 win over Inter

The Nigerian striker didn't like his coach's decision to take him off in the second half

Napoli have brushed aside Inter Milan 3-1 in the Serie A derby on Sunday night, but the moment which came under the spotlight was Victor Osimhen's reaction following Luciano Spalletti's decision to send him to the bench in the second half.

The Nigerian striker was visibly furious with Napoli's boss, losing the plot and asking 'Why? Why?'.

Osimhen is the current top scorer with 23 goals this season and was hoping to add some more goals to his tally, maybe.

However, just after Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa opened the scoring, Spalletti decided to make a double substitution, hauling off Osimhen and Eljif Elmas for Giacomo Raspadori and Giovanni Simeone.

It is safe to say that Osimhen did not take the decision at all well, removing his iconic protective mask and repeatedly shouting 'Why? Why?' towards Spalletti and the coaching staff as he walked off the field.

The Partenopei won the Scudetto, but the tension does seem to be growing, including between coach Spalletti and president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
