Wazito have not recorded a win in the current League campaign

Wazito FC defender Johnstone Omurwa has urged the club's supporters to be patient with the team after a faulty start that has seen the team go for three matches without a win.

Wazito drew their first match of the current campaign with Talanta FC before falling in consecutive losses to Kakamega Homeboyz and Nairobi City Stars, 1-0 and 3-1 respectively.

Despite playing entertaining football, like the Kenyan international claims, Wazito are among the six teams that are yet to register a win in the current league campaign.

The former Mathare United defender is adamant that good results for the moneybags will come, and that run could start with their clash against Kariobangi Sharks at Kasarani Annex on Sunday.

"I know our fans are not happy but I understand that maybe they want better results because that is the only thing missing. We are playing better entertaining football. The results will come, it is just a matter of time and hopefully, it starts tomorrow," Omurwa said.

Ahead of their clash with Kariobangi Sharks in round four of the FKF Premier League, the towering defender is upbeat that they will grab their first win of the season.

Omurwa added that there would be no repeat of the first leg encounter between the two teams last season which saw them go down 4-0 in the opening match of the season, saying that this time they are ready like they were in the second leg of that season.

"Last season when we lost we were not so well prepared, we had just started gelling but in the second leg we were good and we got a win. I feel we can handle them, depending on the know we have trained and the way we are as a team I feel we shall get a win," he added.
