Erzurumspor have two games left in the Turkish Super Lig to salvage their season.
Kenyan international Johanna Omolo and Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor suffered their second successive defeat following the 3-1 loss to Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Super Lig.
The defeat leaves them deep in the shackles of relegation as they have two games to salvage their top-flight status.
Omolo was trusted with a start in the clash with Tanzanian international Mbwana Samata starting from the bench for Fenerbahçe.
Erzurumspor endured a torrid start to the game as Jose Sosa converted a spot-kick in the sixth minute to hand Fenerbahçe an early lead.
Before the dust could settle on Fenerbahçe’s lead, Enner Valencia added the second three minutes later as he rounded the keeper and slotted the ball home from a tight angle.

Omolo was withdrawn at half time and replaced by Özgur Sert as head coach Yilmaz Vural made double substitutions to try and salvage a point from the game.
Sert pulled one back for Erzurumspor in the 81st minute but it was a little too late as Fenerbahçe held on for the 3-1 win.
The win keeps Fenerbahçe firmly in contention of the title race as they are now five points off table-toppers Beşiktaş.
Erzurumspor are three points from safety with two games to go till the end of the season having played a game more than their fellow relegation candidates.
