Said Benrahma is arriving to Ligue 1 strugglers on an initial loan until the end of the season

Olympique Lyonnais and West Ham reached an agreement on Tuesday evening for the transfer of Algerian winger Said Benrahma. According to L'Equipe, the player will join Lyon in the coming hours after finalizing the last details with his club.

At 28 years old, Benrahma fits the profile sought by OL. The Lyon club convinced West Ham with a paid loan offer until the end of the season, amounting to around $5.4 million, along with a non-obligatory purchase option, estimated at around $10.85 million. This transaction puts an end to the pursuit of Everton's Arnaut Danjuma.

Furthermore, the end of Lyon's transfer window could also see the arrival of Orel Mangala in midfield. OL has made a loan offer with a purchase option to Nottingham Forest, Mangala's club. The financial details of this offer have not been disclosed. Although Mangala, aged 25, has not yet agreed to join OL, negotiations are progressing favourably.
