The France-based Okumu watched from the bench with the others getting minutes under their belt
Joseph Okumu, Collins Sichenje, Aflfred Scriven, and Ismail Dunga were all on the losing end with their respective clubs on Sunday afternoon.
Sichenje played the entire length of the match as KuPS went their third match without a win, losing 0-2 to VPS.
The recent run has seen KuPS lose grip of the top spot to HJK whom they now trail by four points.
Nigerian 25-year-old Peter Michael scored both goals in the match, finding the net once in each half.
In France, Joseph Okumu watched proceedings from the substitutes bench as Stade de Reims lost 1-2 to Brest at home.
Reim's Michael Richardson opened the scoring after 19 minutes but two quick goals from Mahdi Camara and Pierre Lees-Melou early in the second half saw Brest turn around the match for maximum points.
The loss saw Reims squander a glorious chance to move to second place, with Brest taking up the spot with the win.
Striker Alfred Scriven featured the whole length of the match as Hodd lost 0-1 to Asane on the road.
Kristoffer Barmen scored the all-important goal for Asane in the 29th minute from the spot as they went on to hold to the slim advantage to the final whistle.
Journeyman Ismail Dunga was also in action for Sham Shui Po as they lost 1-0 to Hong Kong, recording their fourth loss this season in as many matches.
This was the second appearance for Dunga, but he had to make his cameo off the bench as he came on for Chang Kwong Yin for the final 25 minutes.
