The former Bandari forward returned to the country after a season in Tanzania
Former Western Stima forward Baron Oketch is desperate to kick the ball in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League scene again after cutting ties with relegated Tanzanian Premier League side Biashara United.
Oketch who has been training on his own since his premature exit from Biashara says he is ready to listen to offers from local clubs who are recruiting ahead of the start of the new season.

According to the FKF Transition Committee, the new campaign is set to kick off in two weeks time although, it remains to be seen whether clubs will be willing to participate in a competition that is not sanctioned by CAF and FIFA.
Oketch, who has kept a low profile since his exit from Biashara said he was praying to secure offers and continue the search for the top scorer's honours, an award he said he had been hunting for years.
" I have been around for some months since returning from Tanzania. All I want is to feature in our league once more and even win titles and the boot. I am hoping that I will attract offers before the season starts," he opened up.
Reacting on his stay at Biashara, the former Gor Mahia man said the competition in Tanzania was pretty decent but off the pitch issues contributed to the club's relegation.
The former Bandari striker disclosed that the club was willing to extend his contract but declined their offer as apparently he had not received part of the signing fees.
"Biashara wanted me to pen a lengthy deal with them but we did not strike a deal as the club had not met its obligations. I would have wanted to continue plying trade across the border as their league is good but truth be told, I was struggling to find basic needs due to lack of pay," he stated.
