Okare, who joined Rangers in January 2020, had been looking for a club that would accord him more playing time after parting ways with Posta Rangers on mutual consent after a disastrous campaign with the Mailmen

Ezekiel Okare is looking forward to getting back his magical touch after joining National League One outfit Mully's Children's Family (MCF) after parting ways with Posta Rangers in August this year on mutual consent.

Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Okare said that he is hoping he can get the satisfaction of a striker by scoring as many goals as he can with his new side, taking an aim at the golden boot in the second-tier league.

"As a striker, our main role is to find the back of the net as many times as we can and that remains to be my target with the team. So my target this season is to rediscover myself and chase the golden boot which should be in line with our main objective of getting the team to the top flight," Okare said.

Okare has had limited playing time under coach Stanley Okumbi since the change of guard at the club, something that prompted him to seek a release from the club despite having a running contract until 2023.

The former Ulinzi Stars forward revealed that his last season with Posta Rangers was filled with a tough one, finding little to no playing time after recovering from a knee injury that saw him sidelined for two months in the campaign.

"I had a tough season with Posta rangers in the second leg battling a knee injury for two months on top of limited playing time after I recovered. With that, I decided to shift base and we parted ways with Posta. MCF being a team built on strong Christianity values and virtues made it easy for me to settle for them as their structural organization also provides more room to do better as a player," he added.

The former Ulinzi Stars player is hoping that his five-year experience in the top tier will be more impactful on the NSL side as they seek promotion to the top tier.

"I am bringing on board the robust experience I acquired during my five years stay at the top flight which I hope will help bring more positive impact to the team as we strive to get promoted to the top tier this season," he finished.

Before joining Ulinzi Stars, he had spent time with Sofapaka, managing to score 17 goals in his stint, and aided Batoto Ba Mungu to avoid relegation in 2016 where they only survived on goal difference.
