Belgium captain squanders an early chance against Poland
He endured a tough season, but Eden Hazard started showing signs of life again towards the end of the campaign. However, an early chance he missed in his national team's Nations League match against Poland did him precious little good.
Mere minutes into the match in Brussels, striker Michy Batshuayi turned and cracked his shot off the post. The ball came perfectly for the onrushing captain Hazard, presenting him with an easy chance to put the ball into the unguarded net from around ten metres out. And yet, he somehow missed the target!
Come on, Eden, we know you can do better than that!
