Anyembe played full minutes for Viborg, with Omurwa featuring for one half against FC Porto
From winning the hearts of Kenyan fans during Harambee Stars' loss to South Sudan to salvaging a point for Aalborg in Denmark; that has been the week for Richard Odada.
The 22-year-old continued his good form as he scored for his Danish second-tier side Aalborg early in the second half to rescue a point and help the team keep the top spot after playing to a 1-1 draw with SønderjyskE on the road.
Peter Christiansen gave the hosts the lead in stoppage time in the first half but Odada leveled matters seven minutes into the second period.
This was the Kenyan's second start, and he paid his coach's trust with yet another goal; his second in as many starts.
Aalborg lead the quest for promotion after nine matches with 21 points, three more than SønderjyskE who are second in the standings.
In the country's (Denmark) top tier, his compatriot Danniel Anyembe, who just like Odada was among the fans' favorite at Kasarani on Tuesday, clocked full minutes as Viborg held Midtjylland to a two-all draw.
For the match, Anyembe was deployed as a center-back as he partnered with Slovakian defender Žan Zaletel.

Gue-sung Cho gave Midtjylland the lead seven minutes into the second half but substitute Serginho canceled out the lead four minutes later.
With 14 minutes left to play, Franculino Djú reclaimed Midtjylland's lead but Zaletel ensured that Viborg shared the spoils with his goal in the 83rd minute.
Johnstone Omurwa, who left Kenya's camp early upon a request by his club C.F. Estrela da Amadora, featured for one half as the Portuguese top-tier returnees lost 1-0 to FC Porto.
Omurwa was named on the starting team but did not return for the second half with Brazilian Joéliton 'Mansur' Santos taking up his place.
Iran's international Mehdi Taremi scored the only goal in the game in the 28th minute.
