Harambee Stars midfielder Richard Odada was introduced in the first half in Aalborg’s 4-1 win over FC Midtjylland in a pre-season friendly match played on Friday.
Odada came in the 30th minute in what was Aalborg’s first assignment in the year.
Being a pre-season friendly match that was aimed at testing the preparedness of the team ahead of the season, none of the Aalborg players lasted on the pitch for more than 45 minutes.
The defensive midfielder who is on loan from Major League Soccer (MLS) side Philadelphia Union was withdrawn in the 60th minute for Valdemar Møller Damgaard.
AaB got off to a dream start when, in the third minute, Tim Prica passed the ball to Younes Bakiz, whose long-range shot kissed the back of the net.
Prica doubled the advantage for Aalborg two minutes later after Malthe Højholt put him through.
Midtjylland pulled one back after restart through Charles but their hopes of a comeback were extinguished when Lucas Andersens took advantage of an assist from Mads Bomholt to score from close range.
Youngster Valdemar Møller added the icing on the cake in the dying stages of the game.
Aalborg now shifts to Randers FC who they meet next in another friendly match.
