Oburu left out of Zesco United squad for CAFCC assignment

Zesco are set to take on South African outfit Royal AM on Sunday.
Kenyan international Vincent Oburu failed to make the Zesco United squad set to face South African outfit Royal AM in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The forward just recently recovered from a niggly knee injury which had kept him out in opening games of the season and the closing games of last season.
The close to seven-month injury lay off has reduced Oburu's game time at Zesco as it struck just a few games after joining the club from Wazito FC.
Oburu however returned in a high profile friendly against DR Congo side TP Mazembe and earned praise from his head coach Mumamba Numba.
His compatriot Ian Otieno however made the travelling party that left Zambia for South Africa on Wednesday afternoon and is expected to start between the sticks for Zesco.
Zesco will be hoping to register a favourable outcome away in South Africa ahead of the second leg a week later at home.
The first leg is slated for Sunday 9 October while the second leg is scheduled for Saturday 15 October.
