Nzoia Sugar boss admits to be under pressure after going for six matches without a win
Nzoia Sugar head coach Ibrahim Shikanda has conceded to be under immense pressure to snap their recent six-match winless run.
The sugar millers stretched their poor run in the league after losing 2-1to Vihiga United on Tuesday at the Sudi Stadium, a result which saw them taste home defeat for the first time this season.
Shikanda admitted that the dismal run has been giving him sleepless nights and has further attracted him negative focus from the management and fans who look up to him to turn things around.

"The kind of results we have been reaping in the last six matches leaves me with a lot of weight on my shoulders. Everyone is looking at me for answers and the reason behind the poor run. Personally I am not happy with the way we have been performing," said the former Bandari assistant coach.
Shikanda who joined Nzoia in January singled out tough luck in front of the goal to blame for their loss to Vihiga and their recent unwanted results.
Nzoia who grabbed the consolation through Philiph Muchuma would have evened the scores had Gaetan Masha converted his second half penalty.
The former Nairobi Stima boss expressed his regret with the wastefulness of the hit men whom he challenged to step up ahead of their subsequent matches.
" We were punished by Vihiga simply because we couldn't take our chances. We even lost a penalty which would have inspired us come from behind and win the game. We will however go back to the drawing table and come up with a solution in the department," he said
Following the loss, Nzoia are now three places above the red line with seventeen points, two ahead of Vihiga who are breathing behind their backs.
