Mwaura is concerned by the chances his team is throwing away.
Nzoia Sugar FC goalkeeping coach Peter Mwaura says the team’s attackers have to be sharper in front of the goal noting that wastage of chances has seen them drop points in the last two games against AFC Leopards and Mathare United.
The Millers lost 1-0 to AFC Leopards just over a week ago and on Sunday they had to settle for a point in a 2-2 draw against bottom-placed Mathare United at their Sudi Stadium backyard. In both matches, they created chances that would have seen them easily kill off the game but they wasted them.

Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Mwaura admitted that the chances they are throwing away is becoming an issue of concern and added that they need to start killing off games by converting the numerous opportunities that they create.
“Right now we just need to work on our attack, we create a lot of chances but we do not utilize them and that is a very serious concern for us, our players need to bury these chances that we create, we can only win games by scoring,” he told Mozzart Sport.
Ahead of the match against Ulinzi Stars, Mwaura said the goal is to get three points as they are currently in a precarious position in the FKF Premier League.
“On Friday we want to go and get the three points. Looking at our position in the league we have to improve, we need to move up in the table. Teams below us are striving to pick wins and as such if we do not turn things around soonest we could find ourselves in a tricky position,” he added.
The match against Ulinzi Stars will be played at the Narok County Stadium and will kick off at 3 pm.
