Soldiers have clocked 270 minutes without a league goal, face a resurgent Nzoia in next round
Ulinzi Stars head coach Benjamin Nyangweso has slammed his playing unit for putting a lackadaisical show in their last three Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) matches.
The Soldiers have been on the receiving end of league beatings in their last three matches after bowing 1-0 to AFC Leopards before surrendering 2-0 to Bandari. The Nakuru based club fell by a solitary to Tusker on Friday attracting Nyangweso's tart reaction.
The league winning coach attributed their goal drought and below-par performance to lack of cohesion in the team.
Nyangweso was at pains to express his disappointment with his troops for the lethargic show which has seen them lose more ground in their fight to catch up with the top five teams.
"All departments have not been delivering as they should be. We have not been defending and attacking as a unit and often, we have been punished for our mistakes. We are still looking for solutions to our low moment which is normal in football," he said.
The tactician who rued a stroke of tough luck in front of the goal for their Tusker defeat was however unfazed with Nzoia Sugar's giant-killing instincts.

Ulinzi travel to face the sugar millers in their next match at the Sudi Stadium, a venue that has proved a tough hunting ground for visiting teams this season
"We played well against Tusker but we were penalized for the defensive mistake we made. We had our chances which it is unfortunate we did not burry them and arrest our poor run. We prepare for every opponent in a different way and Nzoia's case will not be different," he added.
Ulinzi are placed 10th with 17 points.
