The Kirinyaga-based club remains as the only unbeaten side in the competition.

Fortune Sacco are the only remaining unbeaten National Super League (NSL) side in the current season after the Kirinyaga-based club thrashed Kisumu All Stars in a round five match played on Sunday at the Wang'uru Stadium.

Going into this weekend's fixtures, three teams, Naivas, Mombasa Elite and Sacco were all looking to preserve the unbeaten start but it is the latter who were fortunate to escape unscathed.

All Stars had earlier indicated that they were unable to honour the match due to lack of money, a development that would have seen Fortune get three points and two goals.

However, the former top-flight side managed to source funds for the match only to soak in three goals scored by Mugane Elias, Jesse Ngei and Jacob Wangui. The results saw Fortune who are yet to concede a goal scale to the second spot on the log with eleven points.

Elite lost their unbeaten record after going down 2-0 to Shabana at the Awendo Green Stadium. First-half goals from Yusuf Mohammed and Brian Michira were enough to give Shabana their second win of the season. Naivas were also on the receiving end of a beating as they lost 2-1 to Dandora Love at Camp Toyoyo grounds.

In other matches played on Sunday, Murang'a Seal recorded their third win of the season after edging Kibera Black Stars by a solitary goal at the St. Sebastian Park. John Mwita was the hero of the match his goal made the difference in the match.

MCF also beat Muhoroni Youth a similar margin at the Muhoroni Stadium while Silibwet Leons piled more miseries on Mwatate United after humbling them 4-3 at the Wundanyi Stadium.

Vihiga United comfortably bagged three points after thumping Gusii FC 3-0 at the Awendo Stadium while Mara Sugar played Zoo FC to a two-all draw.
