They have won all three matches in the campaign so far
Shabana FC have a chance to ascend to the summit of the National Super League (NSL) standings at least for 24 hours when they take on Vihiga United at the Gusii Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Sammy Okoth coached side has had a perfect start to the campaign so far, recording identical 1-0 victories in their opening three rounds over Silibwet Leons, SS Assad, and Mombasa Elite.

On the other hand, Vihiga United are still hunting for their maiden win of the 2022/23 campaign having played to a two-all draw in their opening match with Coastal Heroes before falling by a solitary goal to Kibera Black Stars.
With Kibera Black Stars not playing until tomorrow when they face off with Mara Sugar, another team with a perfect start to the campaign, Shabana can take the chance to lift off to the top with a win over Vihiga.
The former Premier League side sits second on the standings with nine points, same as Kibera Black Stars who have a superior goal difference and have played a match more.
This will be the only match slated for Sunday, with three others scheduled for Monday. Coastal Heroes FC welcome Naivas FC at the Mbaraki Sports Club tomorrow at 1 PM, while Migori Youth FC play SS Assad FC at Migor Stadium at 3 PM.
League leaders host Kibera Black Stars FC third-placed Mara Sugar FC at Camp Toyoyo Grounds at 3 PM.
