Former giants, Shabana FC face a spirited Kibera side while Seal host Stima

With a large chunk of the National Super League (NSL) matches which were initially lined up for this weekend cancelled, Shabana have the chance to scale to the summit of the log when they face Kibera Black Stars on Sunday at the Ligi Ndogo grounds in one of the two matches scheduled for Sunday.

The former giants who have found a new lease of life from the time coach Robert Ojienda took over last month sit second with 40 points, one shy of league toppers FC Talanta who will be out of action.

Ojienda surfaced at Shabana towards the end of May after six months in the cold replacing Joseph Ongoro who was redeployed to head the goalkeeping department.

The former Migori Youth tactician has guided Shabana to four wins and two draws in the six matches he has been in charge, among them was a 1-0 win over their match day opponents.

Kibera on the other hand will be pursuing to climb two places up as well as revenge their first-leg loss.

The Slum Boys who beat Nairobi Stima 3-2 in their last match are placed fifth with 36 points and a win will see them move to third.

Murang'a Seal and Nairobi Stima will be plotting to ease their relegation stress when they clash at St.Sebastian Park.

Seal who will be hoping to get back their winning formula following their barren draw with Soy United in their last match sit 14th with 27 points, one ahead of Stima who have stepped up in the second leg.
