With only four matches left before the season ends, every point now carries enormous significance both at the summit and at the foot of the table.

Migori Youth vs MCF

League leaders Migori Youth will headline the round when they host relegation-threatened Mully Children's Family at Awendo Green Stadium in a clash carrying major implications for both sides.

Migori, level on 71 points with Mombasa United, will be targeting back-to-back victories as they seek to maintain their grip at the summit and edge closer to a historic FKF Premier League promotion.

The Mozzart Bet-backed side has been dominant at home throughout the campaign, and coach Sammy Otulo believes his side must remain alert against an MCF team battling for survival.

“Playing teams fighting relegation is always difficult because every point matters to them. We expect a tough match, but we are prepared,” Otulo told Mozzart Sport.

Victory for Migori would move them to 74 points and potentially open a three-point lead depending on results elsewhere.

However, MCF head into the clash equally desperate for points.

Sitting third from bottom, the Francis Chege-coached side knows victory could lift them out of the relegation zone and strengthen their hopes of surviving the drop.

Mombasa United vs 3K FC

Focus will also firmly shift to Mbaraki Stadium, where Mombasa United hosts 3K FC in a high-stakes top-of-the-table showdown.

Separated by only two points, the two promotion contenders head into the fixture knowing defeat could significantly dent their ambitions with the season entering its final stretch.

Mombasa United, buoyed by consecutive victories, will be chasing a third straight win to keep pace with Migori at the summit.

Coach Peter Okidi will also be seeking revenge after the Mombasa-based side suffered a 2-0 defeat in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

However, 3K FC arrive in Mombasa unbeaten in their last 15 league matches and eager to respond after last week’s frustrating goalless draw against Equity FC.

The Embu-based side under coach Nicodemus Omasete knows another slip-up could further weaken their promotion hopes while simultaneously allowing Equity to close the gap by a point or two, depending on the results.

Fortune Sacco vs Equity FC

At Wang’uru Stadium, Fortune Sacco will welcome Equity FC in another crucial promotion-chasing fixture.

Despite sitting sixth on 57 points, Fortune Sacco remains mathematically in contention for promotion and will be eager to bounce back after their thrilling 4-3 defeat to FC Talanta last weekend.

Coach Vincent Nyaberi will once again rely on league top scorer Collins Maina as the hosts seek maximum points to revive their fading hopes, as another slip-up could effectively seal their fate.

Equity FC, meanwhile, remain firmly in the promotion race and will be targeting victory to keep pressure on the teams above them as maximum points from the clash will have the John Kamara Mbweza charges move to within a point of the third spot, depending on results elsewhere and firmly place them in contention heading into the final three rounds of the campaign.

Vihiga United vs Gucha Stars

Meanwhile, relegation-threatened Vihiga United will be desperate to bounce back when they take on Gucha Stars at Jomo Kenyatta Stadium in Mamboleo.

Elsewhere, following their narrow 1-0 defeat to Darajani Gogo, Vihiga head coach Gilbert Selebwa, who suffered his first loss since returning to the club, will be seeking an immediate response as his side battles to escape the drop zone.

Currently second from bottom, victory for Vihiga would lift them to 29 points and significantly boost their survival hopes. Any other result, however, could deepen their relegation troubles.

Gucha Stars, on the other hand, travel to Mamboleo buoyed by a morale-boosting victory over Luanda Villa and knowing another positive result could virtually guarantee their safety in their maiden NSL campaign.

Other fixtures will see Kibera Black Stars face Nairobi City Stars at Gems Cambridge, while high-flying FC Talanta host Nzoia Sugar at Dandora Stadium.
