NSL: Naivas FC good form continues as MCF stun Gusii FC

Fourth placed Gusii FC extended their winless run in the National Super League (NSL) to four games after suffering yet another defeat, this time at home to MCF FC.

In another played today, former FKFPL side Vihiga United were obliterated 5-0 by home side Mwatate United.

Alvin Ngoto was the star man for the homeside as he scored four goals, with Brian Kipruto initially scoring the opener after 33 minutes.

Naivas 3-1 Mombasa Elite

Naivas FC have been on a terrific run under new head coach Elvis Ayany and it continued Monday as the team outduelled visiting Mombasa Elite 3-1 to make it four straight wins for the side in the league.

Coastal Heroes 3-1 Silibwet

The last match of the day saw bottom side Silibwet FC continue with their horrible run this season as they came out 3-1 losers to Coastal Heroes.

Samson Karisa,Lucky Kaingu and Ramadhan Mwanzia scored the goals for the home side, with Hosea Kipchirchir scoring the lone goal for Silibwet.

The win moves Coastal Heroes to ninth place with 20 points as Silibwet-with their fourth straight defeat- remain 17th with five points from 15 games played thus far.
